My goal as a painter is to create works that effectively relay to the viewer my personal beliefs and thoughts on contemporary society. Television, popular trends and everyday lifestyles, particularly within my community, provide me with an endless supply of material.

Working in a Pop Art-influenced style enables me to make strong statements on social and political issues in a subtle, lighthearted manner. Bright colors, which are applied evenly on a smooth canvas, are key components in my paintings because of the contrast they lend to the subject matter. These elements, coupled with my affection for all things vintage, are the driving forces behind my work.
